Privacy Policy for BLOB

Last updated: August 21, 2026

BLOB does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything the app does happens locally on your device.

Camera and Microphone
BLOB uses your device's camera and microphone only to record video directly within the app, as part of its core layering and masking functionality. This footage stays on your device at all times and is never sent anywhere — the developer has no access to it.

Photos Library
BLOB accesses your Photos library only when you choose to:
  • pick an existing photo or video to place into a layer, or
  • save your finished, composited video back to your library.

BLOB does not scan, upload, or share the contents of your photo library with anyone, including the developer.

No accounts, no tracking, no third parties
BLOB does not require an account, does not include analytics or advertising SDKs, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not share or sell any data — because none is collected in the first place.

Children's Privacy
BLOB is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Policy
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future update adds a feature that does involve data collection — this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will reflect that.
